Crime Watch Program

Officer Michael Kovach attended six (6) Hanover Township Crime Watch meetings in 2006. Hanover Township has a strong pro-active Crime Watch Program that meets every other month. An attempt was made to initiate a Bath Crime Watch Program in 2006; but poor attendance forced the program to cease.

Crime Watch meetings are generally held quarterly, although some meet monthly. These meetings generally provide citizens with information regarding on-going problems throughout their communities. Citizens discuss problem areas, common concerns and preventative measures for the future. CRPD’s goal is to have all three (3) jurisdictions to have active Crime Watch Programs in each of it’s municipalities.
