The Colonial Regional Police Department conducted the 2007 Citizen's Police Academy that consisted of eleven (11) Wednesday nights and one (1) Saturday.  Students learned about Police History, Legal Issues, Judicial Systems, Crime Scene Processing, Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia, Traffic Enforcement and Crash Investigations,  Use of Force, the Police K-9 Unit, Gangs and toured the Northampton County Prison and Northampton County 911 Center.  A full day was spent on the shooting range where the students were taught gun safety and proper shooting techniques. Students were also invited to "ride-along" with officers during their shifts to experience the day to day activities the officers encounter during their patrols.

At the conclusion of the 2007 Citizen's Police Academy the students were given an evaluation of the program.  Click on the button below to view the opinions of the students.
